Victorian Regalia
Dreams of Past......
Dreaming of the past where beautiful women elegantly glide across wooden platforms. Their long gowns flowing sinuously, as if a shadow were behind them. Men, stopping to admire the beauty that has been bestowed in their eyes. When one man gets the courage to court one woman. His pleasure shown across his face as she replies "yes". Into Victorian Regalia they enter as the past is now the present.

Victorian Summer Night......
White clouds in the sky, glistening colors over the mountain ridge, reds and orange and yellows. Laying on a blanket under the "ol" maple tree, holding you close to me. Listening to the birds fly away for the night, stars suddenly above watching us so close. Twinkling in your eyes, wind hushing by so not to disturb us. Cold breeze I feel as you hold me tight. With you this can only be a perfect Victorian Summer Night.
Erika started writing poetry at an early age and is very diverse in her writing style. When she was 15 (1986) her mother bought her a notebook so she could keep her poetry in one place. Poetry is like music, I can be sitting around and I just hear it in my head and that is when I grab a pen and paper and just start writing. In recent years she has also started writing music and some day hopes to be able to hear her music played on the radio.
